How to set up Norton Identity Safe

Identity Safe blocks Internet identity theft and helps keep your personal information secure while buying, banking, and browsing online.

Identity Safe manages your login information such as account usernames and passwords and lets you access your favorite site with a single click.

Create Identity Cards to store your personal information, and then use the cards to automatically fill in tedious online forms.

Notes safely stores personal information that you can retrieve and use when needed. This information includes social security numbers, private information, and answers to questions that are common on banking sites.

Norton 360 provides a wizard to assist you in setting up Identity Safe to save log-ins, cards, and notes. You can access the Identity Safe Wizard in the following ways:

* In the main window, under Identity Protection, click Manage Identity Safe.
* In the main window, click Settings, and then in the Settings window, click Identity Safe.
* On the Norton toolbar, click Identity Safe, and then click Settings.
* On the Norton toolbar, click Log-ins, and then click Log in to Identity Safe.

When you set up Identity Safe to manage log-ins, cards, and notes, you can protect your data using a password for your Identity Safe data.
