From your Norton Account, you can download latest versions and reinstall your Norton products if an original is lost or damaged.

Managing your product registration by using a Norton Account

The Product Key for each Norton product is conveniently stored in your Norton Account and you can easily find and update your account and billing information.

Symantec products that are older than the 2006 product year do not appear in your Norton Account.

To go to Norton Account from the main window

1. Click My Account.
2. Click Access Norton Account.

Creating a Norton Account

Your Norton account stores the product key and the billing information of your product.
In addition, Norton Account helps you to do the following:
* Reinstall your Norton product.
* Download latest versions of the product.
* Buy additional product keys for your home or office.
* Manage your online backup.

To create a Norton Account, your computer must be connected to the Internet. You can also create a Norton Account while you activate your product.

Symantec products that are older than the 2006 product year do not appear in your Norton Account.

To create a Norton Account
1. In the Norton 360 main window, click My Account.
2. In the My Account window, click Access Norton Account.
3. In the Welcome to Norton Account Web page, click Create your account now.
4. On the Create Account Web page, provide the details about your Norton Account, and then click Submit.

You can also create a Norton Account while you activate your product.

Creating a temporary password for Norton Account

If you forget the password of your Norton Account, you can create a temporary password to log on to your Norton Account. The temporary password is sent to the email address that you provided when you created your Norton Account.

After you sign in to your Norton Account using the temporary password, you are prompted to change your password.

To create a temporary password for Norton Account

1. In the Norton 360 main window, click My Account.
2. In the My Account window, click Access Norton Account.
3. In the Welcome to Norton Account Web page, click Forgot your password.
4. On the Forgot your Password Web page, verify the email address that is provided in the Email Address box, and then click Continue.

A temporary password is sent to your email address. You can use this temporary password to sign in to your Norton Account.
