Learn how to activate Norton 360 from Symantec

Activation of Norton is pretty straightforward. To activate your product, you will need an installed, working version of Norton 360.

To install and activate your software, follow the steps below:

1. Install your programme from either a CD after you have inserted it into the CD-ROM drive
2. Run the download install file if you purchased a download Norton licence
3. In the navigation panel that popped up, click Install Norton 360
4. Read carefully the Licence Agreement, provide your Norton Product Key and accept it by clicking I Agree to continue
5. After this, the installation process should start. This may take anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes.
6. Proceed to product activation:

   » If you are already Norton user and have setup the Norton account before, sign in to the service
   » If you are new to the business, just click Create Norton Account*

7. Click Next
8. Have a look at your subscription status in the Norton 360 Control Panel and you are done

* You will be required to create Norton account in order to use online backup storage space
